New Celtic Christian Community Forms in Lakeland, Florida

Following in Apostolic Tradition of House Churches, Celtic Christians are meeting in homes for study, prayer, and worship. The newest community has formed in Lakeland, FL.

PRLog (Press Release) – Dec 20, 2008 – A new community of Celtic Christians has formed in the Central Florida area. Saint Bridget’s Celtic Christian Church is meeting on Sunday evenings in private homes in Lakeland. New groups are also forming in the Winter Haven and Lake Wales areas.

The groups meet for study, worship, music and fellowship, starting with an Agape meal, a brief study and a worship service consisting of a contemplative Celtic Evening Prayer. The groups are small and intimate, with time allocated for simple study, silent reflection, confidential sharing and contemplative worship.

Sunday, January 11, 6 p.m. A Gospel Response to the Poor
Sunday, February 8, 6 p.m. Stewards of Creation
Sunday, March 8, 6 p.m. The Mystical Life
