  • On Saturday, August 14, 2010  at 5:30 PM Father James Bradley will officially begin Holy Trinity Celtic Christian Community in the Poconos.  Father's community has been welcomed to worship at Trinity Episcopal Church in Mt.   • Bishop Joseph Grenier of St. Ciaran's Jurisdiction announces that Rev. James Bradley will be incardinated into the Celtic Christian Church.  Father James is beginning a Celtic Christian Community in Mt. Pocono, PA  You can contact him for information at:  Rev. James Bradley, OSF

 

  • "The Independent Catholic, the Blogtalkradio Show hosted by Mother Cait Finnegan has had a name change to : "Celtic Christian Church Radio".  It will continue to air on Monday nights at 11 PM Eastern time.

    • The CCC announces the scheduled ordination of Mr. Thomas Marble to the diaconate on Saturday, May 22, 2010 in Cresco, PA.  
    • The CCCis happy to announce the Ordination to the Diaconate of Rev. Mrs. Judy Kahler!  Judy was ordained in Lake Wales, Florida on May 8, 2010.   Judy has been busy working with St. Bridget's Celtic Christian Church, with three communities meeting in Lake Wales, Lakeland, and Winter Haven, Florida.   For information contact her at: (863) 221-8556.  To read about St. Bridget's check out their newsletter: "The Celtic Bard"  For pictures of the ordination be sure to check our Photo Directory

     

    • THE CCC to offer ONLINE Ongoing Formation Courses...  We will be offering courses to all those interested in ongoing studies.  Currently being planned:  Scripture, StoryTelling, Mysticism.  These courses will be entirely online and interactive, and will last anywhere from 6 weeks to a year and are open to members of the Celtic Christian Church as well as anyone else who is interested.   For information go to our Online Formation Classes webpage.

     

    • The 2010 Celtic Christian Church Synod is planned for November 12 -14, 2010 and will be held at St. Francis Spiritual Center in Ringwood, NJ.  Our Synod is open to all who are interested. For more information click here.

     

    • Father Art Conquest, in a quiet ceremony and Eucharist with his community members, began his year of formation as a secular Franciscan on January 1, 2010.  

     

    • December 12, 2009 found Bishop Grenier, Revs Arthur Conquest and Cait Finnegan celebrating the great Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe with our brothers and sisters in NJ at Old Catholic Church in AmericaThis is ALWAYS a wonderful shared feast filled with joy.  For those who'd like to participate yearly, put it on the calendar now for 2010.

     

    • Bishop Joseph Grenier was honored in August to participate in the ordination to diaconate of Rev. Mr. William Beute, Ph.D. of the Old Catholic Church in AmericaThe communities of the CCC pray for God's blessing on Rev. Mr. Beute and all those he serves as deacon.

     

    • The Celtic Christian Church is grateful to God to announce the ordination to the priesthood of Rev. John Michael Hayes on July 19, 2009.  Father Hayes is a BLESSING to all he serves!   You can see some of the pictures from his ordination by clicking here.

     

    New Ministries Begun by CCC members:

    • Rev. Patricia McClellan has begun St. Columba Ministries offering spiritual direction to individuals, and marriage preparation to couples.
    • Pio Ministries, begun by Father Arthur Conquest will be serving those in need of prayerful presence and support, who are suffering in various ways and have need of both spiritual and physical healing, including those who need a companion while in hospice, or who are suffering from cancer.  Referrals are also made locally in NEPA for other needs such as massage therapy and holistic healing. Pio Ministries includes counseling, oxygen therapy, massage therapy, homeopathic remedies.
    • Solace Of Souls  a ministry of spiritual direction to specific populations on the fringe who have been wounded, ignored or even shunned by the Church, specifically, those abused by clergy,  GLBT, the disabled, and priests transitioning from the clerical state.  Visit the website at http://www.solaceofsouls.org

    • Mrs. Judy Kahler has been accepted into the Formation Program for Holy Orders.  In addition she has been busy already beginning St. Bridget's Celtic Christian Church, with three communities meeting in Lake Wales, Lakeland, and Winter Haven, Florida.   These three communities will join together monthly for a larger celebration.     New Internet Radio Talk Shows begun by CCC members:
